It made absolutely no sense that we decided to start with Anne of Green Gables–a large cast with period costumes, and a script that required an operational boat. When we began rehearsing, we had nothing–literally, nothing. By the time we opened, we had been given stage lights, miraculously located costumes, and had a full cast–several of whom had never been on stage before. And we had a wonderful time!
